tried will o' wisp on psp and hiiro no kakera on ds. after comparing, i have to say it is better to play dating game on psp than on ds.
i am so looking forward to hakuoki now!!!

1 - graphic is clearer. ds is more blur.
2 - easier to read. the words in ds is so small, you will cry.

ds has a touch screen feature but dating games do not really full utilize it so it is pointless if all you want to see graphic and read a nice story.


overall, dating games in the end, are still the bigger the screen the better. however, i do not have a tv and ps2 to play them so a pspor pc is the best option for me.

playing vitamin X evolution on my ds and the sound is just................................

the music come out just beautifully but the voice of the characters..................................they sound like they are standing behind a electric fan when they speak, it is was all muffled and so on.

if the file is corrupted, wouldn't be the background music be just as bad?
only the voices are this bad.........


speaking of this kind of visual novel games, i was comparing the ds and psp version. for example will o' wisp or hiiro no kakera, both of them have both ds and psp version. i don't get why only the psp has additional stuff like mini game and probably one more scene. hiiro no kakera has an addtional scene which you can celebrate christmas with the guy on the route you are on.

what is this biasness? are they telling me that ds cannot support as much information as psp (which is true, we all know that). more like you are buying less for ds games so you get less.........................

i can hear hui min's voice saying 'that's why i get a psp' again.

i recommended my friend who is not a fan of yaoi in the first place to play kichiku megane. hehehehe

her first reaction is to get all the bad endings despite me telling her the bad endings are inhumane. i can't even be bothered to watch the kichi katsuya roots.

i managed to finish with 1 root. well, midou X normal katsuya took me 3 days. *heartache*
this is the best ending for this pair but it is already very disturbing.

midou remains a 80% jerk throughout the whole thing, he is pretty nice after the 3rd H scene though. he bully katsuya in one of the H scene till he was crying and begging midou to save him. you can hear him screaming that shoots into your brain!!! very disturbing.  midou just don't understand katsuya so he is frustrated and wants to bully him. quite a typical protocol of seme character.

i don't understand you. i don't know why you are always similing etc. so i want to rape you. i want to make you cry. i want to rip off that mask of you.

actually, i considered myself done. i am not really interested in seme katsuya doing other more mascular men than him although his voice is a must hear. i am not really interested in other pairing.

so i am now replaying the same root with other options. then i realize how amazing dating games are. i always thought dating games are dumb but this is good. you can torture katsuya more. *ahem*, i mean different options brings you to a different ending.

i love torturing normal katsuya. i made him agree to be midou's sex partner in agreement that the product sales expectation be lowered. then i made him miss out one of the private meeting with midou which he felt worse by going to honda's house. of course, midou won't be happy. that's another thing.

honda called katsuya over to eat curry. katsuya was thinking 'ok but honda's warmth is so far away and detached. i don't want to see midou. i know i must go but i don't want to go.'

at honda's house: katsuya is eating really slowly and with a distressed face. why? with all the stress accumulated (due to midou), he is having gastric pain all the time and he has to eat curry is a torture


when i saw the screen shows 'is a torture', i burst out laughing. i mean it is as if telling the one staring at the screen' you are the one the one torturing him, literally since i am the one who made all the choices.


the second ending i got was shocking. even the sadistic me is rather put off.
the two of them are seen. katsuya is so depressed, he threw everything away, even his pride completely and allowed himself to be mass raped. i am just as shocked. O_O
the worse is that honda, not only did not save him, he wanted to but in the end, rape him as well.

playing world destruction now and i think i get or don't get the appeal of rpg games now.

oh well, i have never played a single computer game for my past 20 years of life until recently. even for pokemon, i only started a few months ago so i only know what i wants, not what the general gamer crowd wants.

from what i see on gamefags forum, i just feel that the general gamer crowd are brats?
i mean there are such arrogant comments like 'laughably easy' ' I'm hoping they add more crap for that US release. I was pretty forgiving about it for the Japanese release...'

this is totally dismissing how much effort is put into making the game. from what i see, they find the animation quality lousy, the game is way too easy, blah blah blah. 

seriously, what does hard core gamer wants? i find it good enough. oh well, i am treating it like a movie. the conversations makes me laugh.

anything more difficult than this will make me cry. and i don't want to embarrass myself on the bus since i only play on the bus.

my friends are probably complaining that i am very free. no, they are complaining.
wtf, i play games on the bus, i don't play it at home so how can you say i am very free? i am so dead tired that i am falling asleep.

anyone play this game on the internet? i found it on the net by chance and tried to play it.

the story is you are trapped in a ninja house and want to get out, so you search the house for things to get out. there are trap doors and so on. you have to use the things you found to climb your way out. i managed to get to the window with a stick, hook and rope but i just can't hook the hook and rope to the stick. the stick just keep coming back to me. my patience ended before i finished the game.

oh well, i am reputed to be short tempered.

it is a simple game for a hard core gamer. taxing and frustrating game for a casual and idiotic gamer for me.


this brings me to another conclusion that pokemon is seriously one of the best games in the whole world. it may have one of the simplest control in the world but definitely something that can hold my attention throughout the way. you can have the best graphic, plot but the worse navigation, then ya, i will play it for 10 minutes and delete it off. i don't like getting lost in the sea without a map.

i don't know what hard core gamers want but a casual gamer like me, wants a game with an easily understandable objective. i am totally fine with bubble bobble, pokemon and racing all my whole life.



speaking of pokemon the whole time. please watch diamond and pearl episode 115 or dp 115. still remember the female police officer?! there is a wild version of her. ROFL.

trying a few games recently on the computer and i have 2 conclusions derived from it.


1 - I am not very smart with games
2 - I have very lousy control with the character.


let me give you a list of the games i played and how i played will tell you why.

 1 - mario kart
not on wii but on the emulator. i was spinning the whole way.......i don't even spin using wii. lol

2 - kingdom hearts chain of memories
i am trapped at one of the door. all it says 'this is the key you see'
it is the 5TH door only

3 - tales of phantasia
i died just fighting the second attack from those wild creatures. i don't even know what it is about.
it has one of the worse control.

4 - some visual kitten pet game
i caused it to hang and all i get to see is this cat that stand there and wave his tail.......

5 - osu tatakae ouenban (i think)
played it on my friend's ds. it is a music beat type of game. need to hit the button on the beat and me, goes off beat all the time. no wonder my mum never lets me learn any musical instrument in the past.

6 - pokemon in japanese
can't be bothered to read. everything in hiragana and katakana, can you believe it?! it is like this post without spacing. a mess of alphabets. O_Olll

get what i meant by me not being a gamer. guess someone who's main interest is anime and manga don't get converted easily.
now i am getting fearful of my ability to play kingdom hearts 368 (i think) and world destruciton, 2 rpg games on ds in the future. oh well, i can't even play red alert properly. don't think i will do better on a more difficult rpg game.
