This is a special drama of Fujiwara Tatsuya for this year. It was aired in March.

Looking at the name, understand it? It is tokyo air raid, ya, those programs to remind the youngster the hatred towards americans, the pain their ancestors have to suffer during the war, the living hell days. It is just sad and sad. Even the birth of a child has to end with sadness.

The whole episode 1 is to show how many people died (a lot), how they die (terribly). then, the last and most important thing is how fragile the happiness they hold. however, though i said this, the air raid happened in the last 30 mins of the episode. the first 2 hour is the relationship between people (any kind). it is because of the sweet, happy 'endings' in the first 2 hours makes the death of their loved ones (3/4 of those introduced to us are gone) even more tragic.

i must warn you there is a lot of fire, burned skin, raw meat, crying, screaming and floating bodies in the last part.

i believe raw for both. for veoh, definitely raw. although it has been out for like 4 to 5 months already, no one is subbing it. although you probably won't understand the words, just feel the emotions pouring out of the screen. it is a great show and it is fujiwara tatsuya as lead. fujiwara tatsuya is described as a genius by people in the showbiz (it is mentioned a few times in variety shows) so his acting shouldn't be a sore eye. (but i still won't take back my words for raito role, no, i should hate the director instead. he changed the script)

the thing i like best of the show is the insert song. Unnamed song by Toshiki, fantastic, very sad song. I love it
 

For some reason, the movies or dramas I watch recently, at least one death is confirmed before i even start watching. they will be full of angst, blood, anger, hatred, helplessness, anxiety etc.......................................i just love these kind of shows.

for the benefit of my best friend who i can never see online in msn, i decided to do a write-up on the movies i want to introduce to her with links here. (one-sided help. she never asks me for recommendations)

 

Nothing about the movie, don't worry. It is a variety show with Fujiwara Tatsuya and Kenichi Matsuyama as guests.

It is subtitled in mandarin. I find it rather funny with how quiet and dazed Matsuyama is. Then when he heard Fujiwara saying he was playing with his wired acessories. His reaction is so funny, he like want to pounce on Fujiwara.
