I am so impressed by Bakuman, both by the mangaka and the novelist, same duo of Death Note. A completely different genre, lighter atmosphere but the hunor is still there. I like Obata Takeshi on one notion, his facial design. so far none of his character looks the same, not many artist is willing to do so.

The Bakuman is about a pair of high school students striving to become a mangaka+novelist duo. Ok, more like the 'mangaka' is pestered into doing so. So we are introduced into the world of a mangaka, the way it works and how tough it is. I don't know how accurate it will teach us about the job of a mangaka but it is tough alright. 'Being a mangaka is a gamble.' is a phrase by the young novelist in the manga. Well, being alive itself is a gamble.

Seeing D gray man 170 is like the holy light shining on me.

Well, anyway, not much development but more sparks between allen and kanda. though kanda is as cold as ever, there is an underlying 'caring' notion in his scolding of miranda. it could be for himself so it won't endanger the black order or he just can't tolerate 'idiots'

allen 'asking' others to kill him if noah is to take over is so typical of him to say. i doubt linali can do it but i wonder if kanda will. i am looking forward to this day.

next week is even better. will we see a more humane side to that commander whatever? what will happen between allen and him? would allen treat him with respect or glare at him like kanda does to everyone?

i am more interested in tim. what is tim? it can eat, drink and it has emotions too. tim lingering around cross's 'death seat' is a nice reflection of it. it hiding itself then popping its head/body out after seeing the commander is like a frighten kitten. kawaii~~~~
